Advance bookings
Set the pickup time now, not on the day
Choose Book for Later and pick a date and time in Sydney time, up to 90 days ahead. The request goes into the queue with that time attached, rather than being treated as an immediate job.
Early departures are the common case — a pre-dawn airport run is far easier to arrange the week before than at five in the morning.

Return trips
Add the return leg to the same request
A booking can include a return trip with its own date, time, pickup and destination. It is dispatched as a linked second job, so both legs are arranged from one request.
This suits a meeting across town, an event with a known finish time, or a trip out and back from an airport.
Payment
Settle how the trip will be paid before it happens
Payment is chosen from a dropdown on the booking form, set to Pay to driver by default: pay the driver directly, pay online by card, or settle with a Cabcharge card or account. Online card authorisation is offered when the whole trip falls within the next six days.
With an online card booking the amount is authorised up front and only captured once the ride is marked completed. Full detail is on the payment policy page.
