How Booking Works — Three Steps
From entering an address to a driver arriving, here is what happens at each stage and what you will be asked for.

Step 1
Enter your pickup and destination
Type an address and pick it from the suggestions, drop a pin on the map, or use your current location. If the trip starts or ends at Sydney Airport or Western Sydney Airport, open the airport panel, pick the airport and choose your terminal instead — the address fills itself in.
You can add stops along the way, up to five points in total including the pickup. The route is calculated across every leg as you go.

Step 2
Choose your vehicle, timing and details
Pick Book for Now or set a date and time up to 90 days ahead. Set the passenger and luggage counts, and the vehicle list narrows to what fits. Add a baby seat or request a wheelchair accessible vehicle here if you need one.
Then add your name, contact number and email, plus any notes for the driver — a gate code, a meeting point, a kerbside bay. Accepting the collection statement, privacy, fare pricing and terms is required before the request can be sent.

Step 3
Choose payment and send the request
Pick how you will pay from the dropdown — Pay to driver is selected by default, or choose online card or Cabcharge. If you pay online by card, the exact amount including the website card surcharge is shown on the secure payment page before anything is authorised.
Send the request and the confirmation page shows your booking reference and estimated fare. Taxi details and an estimated arrival time follow once the job is allocated. Booking requests can be sent anytime; dispatch confirmation depends on availability.

After you submit
What happens next
Your booking moves through a small number of states, and the status screen shows where it is.
Booking requested
The request has reached dispatch and is waiting to be allocated to a driver.
Booking accepted
A driver has been arranged. Taxi details and an estimated arrival time are sent to you.
Booking completed
The ride is finished. This is the point at which an online card authorisation is captured.
Set for later
Advance bookings sit as scheduled until their pickup date comes around.
Cancelled
You cancelled, or the request could not be filled. An uncaptured card authorisation is released.

Call us with your booking reference. Changes to a submitted request are handled over the phone.
